okay, so we just got back from our wedding/honeymoon and had a
fantastic time.
A family member taped the ceremony with their camcorder, and lent it
to us for the honeymoon in the mountains.

I would like to be able to get the video from this into iMovie to
edit and play around with.

Unfortunately, the family member doesn't have any cables that connect
it to a computer so that makes it a bit more difficult.
The camera records directly to those small DVD discs, so there should
be someway to incorporate the videos.

Is there a program (free/shareware/other) that will convert DVD video
chapters to .mov files or something that iMovie can use?

The videos aren't copy protected or anything, so i'm not looking for
something to crack that.

I know that I can rip the video to my hard drive into TS-video
folders or some such, but then how do i get that into iMovie?

Thanks,

rick
