Right now I'm running Parallels Desktop Build 1862 Beta (August 7,
2006). The main Parallels program is in my Applications folder on the
internal drive and the Windows XP virtual image is on an external
Firewire drive. This leads me to believe it has some support for
Firewire. I've not tried my camcorder with it to see what other types
of Firewire gadgets it might support.
