Thanks Jonathan and Alan,

I happen to have FileMaker Pro 7.1a on my iMac right now. I just never
have gotten around to using it. I use AppleWorks.

A couple of questions:

If I create a pdf with my database (FMP) will it be searchable?

The web publishing I won't worry about until I get some of the database
done. Then I will try to have our Web master (assuming the collectors
club has one) put it up. First I've got to design the database. Duh.
While I use AW database a lot, it is always for simple catalog type
stuff. My layouts are usually whittled down to what I can show on one
line on a page. This new one I want to look more professional so I'll
have to think about design.

I'm assuming if I get the data in, I can work on the design later. Correct?

Anyway thanks. I'll look at FMP tonight.
