Doug Cobb. Created a buncha newsletters and sold The Cobb Group to Ziff-Davis. Doug then went on to join (found?) a venture capital firm called Chrysalis Ventures. He has also served as the Chairman of the Louisville Chamber of Commerce and is generally regarded as one of Louisville business' greatest cheerleaders. Heckuva nice guy. Even teaches Sunday School.
How do I know he's a nice guy? The first time I met him he helped me jump my car on a freezing cold winter day in a parking lot--AFTER ZD made him wealthy. How do I know I'm an idiot? When he introduced himself my response was, "THE Doug Cobb?" Some people just can't act normal around famous people to save their life! Doh! j.
