I like Extensis Suitcase pretty well. It seems to work most of the time.
Although every now and then I need to copy fonts straight into the system
font folder.
I am running OS 10.3.9 I am not aware of anything better out there. I
know that Adobe quit supporting fonts for Mac OS beyond 9.
I was on the Mac website looking up font management a while back and they
have several ways of loading fonts in the OS manually.

Is Suitcase the best (or only) font manager for OS X that will allow
you to activate/deactivate fonts at will? I'm used to using ATM in
System 9 and would like something similar in X. What's the consensus
out there?
Any other advice regarding fonts in moving from 9 to X?
