Hi gang!

I'm traveling and have had great success sending email while connected to
other networks.

On the way down Alabama to visit my son I stayed at a Days Inn, connected
to their server via ethernet and had no problem sending email via my
provider - mail.bellsouth.net.

In Alabama I went to a local library with a wireless connection and was
able to send email, no problem.

Now, I'm on my way home and spending a couple of nights in central
Alabama at a Best Western. Their server does not accept outgoing mail
through BellSouth even though I checked the authenticate box and
supplied my password. I called their tech support 800 number and got
their outgoing mail server - mail.adelphia.net. And as you can see I can
now send email.

Is there a way to circumvent this problem in the future - ie., is there
some program which will detect my host's outgoing mail server or let me
send email even though the host blocks mail.bellsouth.net.

Hope this is clear.

TIA

Harry
