I recently installed a new 120 gb hard drive in my G4 desktop (400 mghz).
I did not remove the old 20 gb hard drive.

I installed 10.3.2 on a 50 gb partition of the new drive. When I did the
install I had two monitors attached to the computer (an Apple display and
a KDS 15" LCD display).

I had been having trouble with the KDS display and after installing
panther it quit working. I removed the display (I did determine the
display was bad. I connected it to a PC and it still would not work). I
left the video card (Exclaim 3D) in the computer and panther thinks I
still have two displays (Jaguar does not think so). When I open the
monitors preference panel two separate panes show up and I have to turn
mirroring on or else things disappear onto the ghost monitor. When I turn
mirroring on the screen takes on a grainy texture.

This effect does not occur when I boot from the drive with Jaguar.

Help please. And thanks.

Harry
