Now that it's clear Apple won't be upgrading software on Jaguar (Safari 1.2, for example, is Panther-only) I'm thinking of finally taking the plunge. Now I know my iBook will take the upgrade just fine, I'm wondering about my beat-up old G3 (the one with the semi-translucent blue-and-white tower). Has anyone installed Panther on that old a Mac, and if so would you recommend taking that journey or not?
