Mike;
        I finally solved my problem by opening Explorer using an address in
mail . After opening Explorer I went to Preferences > Web Browser >
Browser Display and chose None as my home page. This way Explorer
opens on the desktop with no address in the address bar. I then go to
my saved bookmarks and open the site I want. So far this is working
fine. MY Safari open in Bellsouth.net and is causing no problems.
