Well now . . . --just d/l v6.5.8 of PGPi Mac version from best server. --prior to d/l, warning said Stuffit Expander v5.5 needed, and will not work if v6.0.1. -- --I had v6.5.1 of Stuffit Expander, so tried with newer version installed. --when launch of Expander occurs, version check alerts to available v10. said yes. --proceeded with d/l and install of Stuffit Expander v10 from website (not Stuffit Std.). --prompted to logout or reboot at finish. --chose logout, and logout proceeds to login window. --login atttempt. -- --get prompt "Can't login to (owner-admin) account at this time."
( What the F*** ! ) --decide to reboot; same problem. --try Zap PRAM with next reboot. --same problem occurrs --tried safeboot. diddlesquat. --reboot into backup volume, as yet unchanged by update. --backup volume/disk seems OK. --sending this eMail to GroupList.
