Anne, My daughter has an iMac G4 (goose neck) and in the last several months she has had all kinds of problems with iMovie. We moved so many items to an external drive and it didn't help. I have run all the utilities and that hasn't helped. She can barely get the workflow entered and then she brings the file to my house to complete on a faster machine. I have no idea what the problem is, it didn't used to be this way for her.
