Hey folks,

My step-daughter is having trouble with her Epson 777 printer: the
printer prints nothing.

She has tried cleaning the print heads in the standard way.
She tried both the new cartridges she bought and some old cartridges
which still had some ink. (The new cartridges are from CarrotInk.)
She called Epson, and they claimed the printer needed to be serviced,
to the tune of $50.

I'm guessing that the print heads are clogged and need to be washed,
but I don't know what solvent is both save and effective. Of course,
this is a guess.

Anyone have any home-cooked methods for trying to clean/repair the
printer?

Bill
