Asking for info for a coworker. He bought an iBook for his daughter a year or so ago (now out of warranty - of course). The thing will power up and then shut itself down randomly. It may work 10 minutes, it may work 30 seconds. He's tried it plugged in and not plugged in, taking the battery out and holding the power button down and then reinstalling he battery (he read this somewhere on the web), all with no luck. Any ideas?
