I love the Touch, but the pricing seems a bit weird.

An 8gig iPod Touch for $399 or an 8 gig iPhone for $399?

And the only difference is that you can buy music remotely with the iPod 
Touch? Somebody 'splain what the big deal is, sounds like somebody in 
Cupertino really is touched.

And ringtones for 99? more over the cost of the song? I don't get it.

Don't misunderstand my questions, I'm sure I'll be all over the iPod 
Touch when it gets here (the smaller one, that is) and I'm excited about 
the revamp of the product line, but it seems like there were three or 
four pricing committees who wouldn't share with each other.
