In anticipation for Leopard I am trying to decide just how I will
upgrade.

Right now, I'm leaning towards an archive and install or a clean
install.
I keep a bootable backup every night, and have .mac syncing my
bookmarks, calendars, contacts, and keychains. Apple's Backup does my
"Personal Data & Settings" daily as well.

I don't mind a bit of elbow grease to re-install some programs if I
have to, as I've already dug out all the serial numbers.

If I do a clean install, then use the migration assistant on the
bootable backup, will that preserve all of my pictures, keywords,
music, preferences, etc?
Will it leave out any of the junky bits that a simple "upgrade" might
leave on the system?

How will you upgrade?
