Well I can under stand wanting to delete a video as they are usually the largest files on you iPod. So the ability to delete on the go is handy. Deleting a song on the go would cause more problems than it would be worth as many people keep music on their iPod that is not on their computer by manually managing the iPod. If I don't like a song while it is playing I just rate it with a one star then the next time I connect the iPod to iTunes I click on the Ratings row and select all one star's and delete.

I made a special trip yesterday to the Genius Bar at the Apple store. Deleting podcasts and songs is not working with the finger delete. You have to do it while connected to iTunes. So whoever said it was possible must have had something else in mind. I shall give it a try today when connected to see how things go. I really don't want to delete, I just want to know how- in case. But I am crazy anyway and I do love that state of being! So I would say you can not delete podcast's this way only video. So you may not be able to do it on your iPhone either and you are not crazy. _______________________________________________ The next Louisville Computer Society meeting will be November 27 at MacAuthority, 128 Breckinridge Lane.
