[MacGroup] epson printer beyond repair?

My epson 785 epx printer isn't working and shows an error message  
of   "err serv" in its LED. I think that means needs service. I don't  
know where to get the printer repaired in Louisville and suspect it  
would be too expensive to do so. But I hate just throwing away what  
has been a reliable printer and would appreciate any suggestions  
about saving it--Thanks--Ben Zion Hershberg
