Steve is this a Movie file purchased thru iTunes or a video Podcast? I do not think the purchased MP4's can be converted to a format for burning to a playable DVD do to copy write protection. You can use a piece of software like FFmegx to turn a MP4 into a Mpeg 2 which is the format for video for a standard DVD. Then use Toast to burn it as a playable DVD.
