I have a meeting I need a good recording to be able to review by
putting the file in iTunes, then an iPod.
I purchased the Griffin "iTalk" which plugs into the bottom of an
iPod. It does a FANTASTIC job. I recorded a meeting where every
single voice in the room is captured and they were 30 feet away at
least. The problem is the recording also has the spinning up of the
hard drive, which is annoying to say the least.
I found a good recorder that will do what I want, advertised to work
on Mac & Windoze, but it records the file in .WAV format. In reading
about .WAV it is a Microsoft development and it seems to me that I
have gotten .WAV files in the past and they don't open with anything I
have.
So, what is the opinion of .WAV, are they easy to convert to an Apple
file, what program would be used to do that?
Thanks every so much for your help.
John
