I am getting ready to purchase a new 15² Macbook Pro, however, I am trying to decide where to purchase it. I checked MacAuthority online and they seem to only have the older models. I could purchase from our new Apple store, or MacMall is offering a $150 rebate on the model I want. My concern is that they only give you a 20 day window to file for the rebate and it takes 10 days for the unit to arrive. They also offer ³free² Parallels with the unit after another rebate. I like the idea of getting the unit for $150 off but really hate the idea of dealing with a rebate. I also bought my last laptop from mail order for a rebate and you know the luck I had with it.
Has anybody ever dealt with MacMall? Any opinions on the subject? I am leaning toward buying it locally in case something goes wrong, however I really like the idea of $150 off. Help! Nora
