you reset the PMU? not knowing 'which' ibook you have but assuming a
later model. best...jf
something like this:
turn ibook off
disconnect power
remove battery
press and release the reset button located above the a/v port on the
left side of the ibook by inserting the end of a paper clip into the
small hole and press the switch once. or, some of these might have had
the reset button under the battery.
wait at least 5 seconds (you impatient devil)
reconnect the power
reinstall the battery
press the power button to restart
