Don't I know !! - And the Apple guys at our marvelous new store couldn't manage, but Jonathan could - a little pry and it popped right out. Yes, those geniuses! The Apple logo somehow must have interfered with their common sense.

Still under warranty , first they thought it be covered, then decided I did harm to the iBook, maybe I sat on it! Wanted to charge me almost $ 150.00, but Apple consumer help was kind and I did not have to pay - courtesy of Apple . Maybe it's a fault of the iBook itself. I wonder how many stuck-ins Apple had to fish out of iBooks? If I used that slot three times it was a lot!. The sound is so dismal without some extra speakers . I regularly do my work with CDs on my iMac.
