Harry Jacobson-Beyer asked:
I've got my coupons for $40 off to purchase Analog to Digital Converterboxes for my analog tvs.Can you recommend one or two?
If you have cable, you don't need one.If you do need one, wait a while. There's a lawsuit coming up through the courts in which the low-power community TV stations are suing the FCC because little provision was made for them in the switchover. The low-power stations don't have to switch to digital, and many won't because of the expense. If the boxes don't pass analog signals, you can't see the analog community stations. They want the FCC to mandate that all the converter boxes pass analog signals. Many (most?) of the boxes now on the shelves now do not pass analog signals, so the broadcasters want them replaced.
