Greg I haven't gotten around to setting up the iPhone SDK but I wonder
if that will let you run the app's.

There are several apps that let you sync documents. I am sure someone
will have a Grocery list app or a To Do app that you sync to a computer
program. I read the app updates everyday. There are at least 150 new
programs added over night or up dated so I think it will happen in due
time.
All the big name Mac programmers haven't added app's to the App store
but I am sure they are working on something. It's all so new. I have
Stanza set up to sync pdf files and text files for reading right now.

Subject: [MacGroup] iPhone Apps

Hi all,
I have a simple question concerning iPhone apps - can you open them
on
your computer? For example, I purchased the "Grocery list" app. It was
cheap
and I wanted to try something. Anyway, as you might expect, it's nothing
fancy, it allows you to make a list of the things that you need from the
grocery. But entering that list on an iPhone/iPod Touch is tedious.
Ideally,
I would like to be able to open some type of list/spreadsheet on my Mac
and
then sync it with my iPhone/iPod Touch. This would make the list soooo
much
easier to work with as well as provide a backup copy. The grocery list
isn't
particularly important to me but are all apps going to have this
limitation
- forever?
The apps download to iTunes and just sit there. I cannot double
click
on them to open them. I have tried dragging them to the Applications
Folder
without luck. I know the answer to my question but I'll ask the group
just
in case there's a miracle out there!

Greg
