Ed, When I saw the line "Remove from previous Recipients List" in the drop down menu in MacYourself, I thought I must be blind not to have noticed it when I was trying to get rid of an unwanted old recipient. However when I looked at my Mail, that option is not present (I have the latest version of Mail; maybe this was an option on earlier version?). I did finally notice the "Spotlight "xxx" option and tried it. That allowed me to refresh my memory as to who the individual was. Also I had two e-mail addresses for the person in my Address Book (both inactive) when I deleted the second address, it also removed the first. Finally. Thanks a lot. I might never have managed without your suggestion; even though it didn't work.
