The electricity and phone lines go out to the studio through an underground conduit. Is there any way anyone knows what my problem and/or solution may be? Since you have electricity going out there, how about using a power line network adaptor? Netgear and several other companies make them. [1] I have an acquaintance who uses them to get a net connection out to his garage, where his office is located. The system seems to work fine.

You could probably do it with a wifi repeater.
