The songs need to be authorized on your iTunes with the ID and password of the person that purchased them. To solve this problem, you can do a couple of things. Share eachother's ID's, or burn the songs to cd then re-import them into your library as mp3's.

Okay, what gives? A colleague here at school and I both have set prefs to share our libraries on the network, I can¹t listen to anything she purchased from iTunes! When I click to listen to a particular song, I get the message that my computer isn¹t authorized, and then a window comes up where I put in my aol user name & password, which I use to authorize songs purchased from iTunes, and it comes back with a message that says the computer is already authorized & can authorize up to 4 more. But then when I click on the song again, the same original error message pops back up, but I can never manage to listen to anything in her playlist purchased from iTunes... 2nd question: Lee, is there some special preference I need to set in order to read the digest postings that get pushed from my gmail account to my iPhone, or is that something you have to set? Happy Holly-daze, one & all! Cathy _______________________________________________ The next Louisville Computer Society meeting will be January 27 at MacAuthority, 128 Breckinridge Lane.
