I just wanted to let you all know what happened to the airport issue I was having.
I called tech support. The first lady I talked to was no real help. She asked me to check some settings and the sort. No results. But she transferred me to an airport expert. He had a real simple fix. Simply delete all the old networks I had used (things like when you log on in Panera Bread, or at a coffee shop). I had almost a hundred. Mostly old names for the ones I use (we changed the name at work a time or two) friends houses and coffee shops and the like. It looks like it worked. My MacBook was searching for the old networks i have used in the past. Who knew. . . But it appears to have worked.
