I then copy the photos to my hard drive close the mini sd window and
drag the icon to the trash.
At which point I get the following message:
The disk "NO Name" is in use and could not be ejected.
Try quitting applications and try again.
Well there are no applications using the photos on the disk. I tried
relaunching the finder but that didn't work.
I eventually just pulled the card from the card reader but the icon is
still on my desktop and still unejectable.
Short of restarting my system, how can I force the card to eject.
BTW Disk Utility won't unmount it either.
TIA.
