Wendi, some routers require you connect the target computer, the G4 to
the router direct at first, to sync the router to the Mac.  I know i
have had to do that on some occasions.  See if you can cable the mac
to the router, then set permissions/access.  Once the router "sees"
the Mac, you should be able to use it wirelessly.  Good luck
