We live in the country about 9 miles from Bowling Green and are lucky to
have high-speed internet (available only in the last couple of years).
Great for internet, but I don't use it for much else. Consider me the
weirdo in the Group, but I don't watch tv -- we never got around to
upgrading to HD and don't miss it much, except maybe for "The Simpsons."
(Our outmoded tvs are used only for watching rental movies on DVD, mostly
from NetFlix.) Why would anyone pay $54 monthly for basic tv on cable, let
alone $147 for 390 channels? How many channels can you watch, even if you
store a lot of 'em? I don't have that much time left :).
