I had a problem syncing everything, too.

I made an appointment with the Genius Bar at the Apple Store. I took my
Macbook Pro, my IPad, my IPhone, and my IPod Touch to the appointment.

I spent an hour there and the "Genius" got everything to sync. I have a
mobile me account. Everything syncs through that. I wish I could tell
you what he did, but it went so quickly and he worked so fast I don't
think I could replicate his actions.

It's amazing how everything works. I make a change on one device and
within seconds it's on all of them.
