It's not what you think. The phone puts out the WiFi signal from the 3G that it gets from the network. Since you have no other devices that you want to use with it, it would not benefit you in the slightest. All it does is rebroadcast your 3G access plan megabytes as WiFi. A regular 3g phone or a 3G iPad is what you need where you go, since you cannot count on Dr. offices having WiFi. People would use the "WiFi wherever you go" thing if they wanted to surf with their laptop or other device that didn't have 3G and there was no other WiFi available. They would get their WiFi from the phone which would get its connection to the internet through its 3G. j. -- Jonathan Fletcher FileMaker 9 & 10 Certified Developer Fletcher Data Consulting [email protected] http://www.fletcherdata.com 502-509-7137 Kentuckiana's FileMaker Users Group Next meeting: January 20, 12:00 pm to 3:00-ish Special Location!
