Thanks for learning again. So, stick with AT&T is my motto until when ? Maybe until everybody will get along and we need not be faulted by all those companies' competition urge to make their profits.

Maybe the money won't be worth anything anymore soon, then folks might get along in brotherly [email protected]

And Thanks Anne, yes this English humor is good. Somebody had sent it to me sometime ago. I have been playing it at intervals for a good laugh so rare these days.

The wifi you "carry with you" is really what I need.

It's not what you think. The phone puts out the WiFi signal from the 3G that it gets from the network. Since you have no other devices that you want to use with it, it would not benefit you in the slightest. All it does is rebroadcast your 3G access plan megabytes as WiFi.

A regular 3g phone or a 3G iPad is what you need where you go, since you cannot count on Dr. offices having WiFi.

People would use the "WiFi wherever you go" thing if they wanted to surf with their laptop or other device that didn't have 3G and there was no other WiFi available. They would get their WiFi from the phone which would get its connection to the internet through its 3G.
