The clear QAM basic channels should be no problem. They might be moving them 
around some, but I've not heard they're going to encrypt them. There is already 
a boatload of encrypted channels: all the premium stuff and the extra stuff in 
the higher tiers. What the boxes and cards do for you is translate the QAM 
channel designation to the nice numbers, such as SyFy from QAM 62-1 to Insight 
156. This lets them move the QAM slots around without changing the Insight 
channel number.

To tell you the truth, if there was a decent alternative to Insight broadband 
around here, we wouldn't have cable at all. Almost all the TV watching we do 
these days is over the Roku.
