My me.com mail is not working on my MacBook, is fine on iPad & iPhone.  I may delete it and reinstall(?).   Other suggestions?  It keeps asking for my password on the Mac.

This is how Apple's mail behaves when anything goes wrong. It's kind of brain-dead in diagnosing log-in errors. Chances are the server is just timing out and all will return to normal in a day or so.

I've seen several reports about how Apple's updates have been bringing a lot of the Internet to its knees since yesterday. I think Apple's servers are also feeling the pain.
