Ed, Thanks for the link and it was an interesting read, but it doesn't really address my question. I have scroll bars in my programs' windows, but I no longer have the up and down arrows that allowed me to scroll the window one line at a time. I'm trying to get used to using the two-finger scroll gesture to accomplish much the same thing, but I find that I can't (yet) control the movement as finely as I could with the arrows. I have not been able to find a preference that will bring back my up and down arrows.
