What does it mean whenI click on a photo in iPhoto (7.1.5) and all I get is a black screen and a gray circle with a black exclamation point in it? This happens with two photos I took. Only with those two. The thumbnails show up fine. Information says 2.1 MB 1988 x 2110 JEP Image. (2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Mac running Mac OS X 10.6.8)
I can't open them in photoshop or drag them to the desktop When I try to duplicate the photos, I get : Unreadable Files: 1 (import failed.) How come I get the thumbnails but not the 2.1 MB photo? Luckily I can retake the photos; but this really bothers me. Is this a problem that has popped up before with anyone? Anne Cartwright And yes I know there is a newer version of iPhoto, but unless the problem is something inherent in the version I have I don't see any reason to upgrade.
