When I attempt to download photos from a memory card via a card reader or from a flash drive, it seems that the only thing loading are the thumbnails. They look good in iPhoto as thumbnails but when I click on one attempting to open it, I get a message that the file can't be found. And eventually I have to force quit because nothing else will let me out of iPhoto.
Very frustrating. Each time I think I have found a solution, I find it won't work a second time. The last thing I tried was opening a new Photo Library and down loaded the photos into it. That worked. Once. The photos loaded work fine in that they open in Photoshop. But not in iPhoto. Any ideas. I'll be coming back with many photos of many memories. Hope to be able to get them into iPhoto sometime. Running iPhoto '08 on 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo iMac with OS X 10.6.8.
