If you are using a bellsouth internet connection all out going mail must go thru their mail servers. So set the mobile me account outgoing server to the bellsouth and all will work. This is a security issues with bellsouth. Found this out years ago as my father in law uses a email address other that bellsouth and he uses my internet connection.
