Bill,
You are right, iDVD is no longer, (this was one of the things I wrote to Tim
Cook about, didn't seem to do much) even for the new FinalCut X there is NO in
depth DVD program. Yes there is a DVD but it isn't as sophisticated as what we
were used to with iDVD. This is why those with the older version of FinalCut
will never want to get rid of it for inside that program there WAS a fantastic
DVD authoring program THAT CAN STILL BE USED WITH FinalCut X.
This was the post I made a couple weeks ago, I couldn't load the OLD FinalCut
Pro from the disk, it continued to say the installation FAILED. I was loading
it ONLY for the DVD program. I learned that indeed portions of the program did
load, then instead of failing the dialogue should have read, "to continue your
installation go to software update and complete the installation", or something
like that.
I didn't have the foggiest if anyone out there used any of these but I thought
it best to post just in case.
You seem to be current on Pages and Numbers.
