Folks,

Fearing to tread into the Windows waters but to save money I must.

I use an online broker, they will pay the exchange fees if you VERIFY with them
each month that you are still an active client. Fine. BUT it's only through a
WINDOWS computer. I have fought with them for a week and they won't budge,
however they say they are "looking" into supporting the Mac.

The fees can be very heavy, around $76.00 per month for either the three or
four futures exchanges and then a paltry amount for the equity exchanges.

So, I guess I'll use Boot Camp on one of the Mac's to log into the account for
verification each month, I'll purchase Windows 7 and have them help me set up
the link. UHG.

My fear, I will be hacked while online for those few minutes each month. I
know NOTHING about the Windows world, what in the world can I do to keep myself
safe?

I have used Boot Camp before, booted into Windows but each time I would remove
the Mac from the outside world before booting into Windows, then when back I
would go back online. Now I HAVE to be online to make the verification.

What do I need to purchase, load, turn on, turn off, etc. to give myself
protection? I won't load anything but Internet Explorer (or if you suggest
another browser), maybe even Safari for Windows?

I appreciate suggestions, I feel like I am going Alligator hunting where I am
the hunted.

John
