This last reason seems odd to me. The GSM communications standard is what is used in most of the world, with CDMA much less common (although it was, curiously enough, made the standard in Iraq after the US invasion). Perhaps I'm missing something or my knowledge is out-of-date. I'm only commenting, because one of the reasons that I'm on ATT (and will be for a while) is because GSM. Of course, I never use my phone to make calls overseas, because the rates for calls when outside the US is, quite simply, highway robbery. Bill
