I have a Power Mac G4 set up to where I can run my Iphone and Itunes running OS X 5.8.
I also have OS X 4.11 on another drive so I can run Classic apps. When I connect to the Internet with OS X 4.11 my signal seems to be stronger than with OS X 5.8? Is there a reason for this? We have a 2WIRE Router from AT&T and it is a "G". I have ordered a Netgear "N" router hoping it will boost my signal up as it also works as a range extender. This unit is in the garage around 75 feet from the house with a standard airport card. Has anyone else had the same problem with different versions of OS X? Steve
