Sliverlight is Microsoft's flash plug in. You may have had a site at sometime
or another that required it to be installed.

Subject: [MacGroup] Microsoft Silverlight Update

What is Microsoft Silverlight and why do I keep getting a window telling me
that an update has been found and I should update to ensure that I'm using the
latest and most secure version of Silverlight.

I wasn't aware I had it on my computer. Apparently an Internet plug-in. For
what?
