I've searched for iTime Machine and could find nothing up-to-date. I'm curious about how the notice to use it came to you.
Also searched how to best use Time Machine with AirDisks and found this very informitive site:
http://pondini.org/TM/Airport.html
Personally, I have an external drive (Western Digital) plugged into my laptop with Time Machine backing up to that. Once a month, I make a clone with SuperDuper on another external drive, and keep it off site. Tried once using the old AirPort Extreme with TimeMachine, but never could make it work well.
