After reading them on your iMac, do you delete them?
If you do, make sure you empty the trash. Then the next time you look at mail on your ithing, the deleted mail items will not be there.

Is there any way to delete all mail from iOS devices at once? Any app that will let you do it? Any way to hightlight all, easily, and then delete?
I usually (almost always) read my email on my iMac. However on the few occasions I'm out and have WiFi connection I would rather not have all those 100s of messages on the machines. They weight it down:)
