Hello everyone, I recently purchased a MacBook Air. I set it up using time machine from my iMac.
Everything seems to work fine EXCEPT NeoOffice. All my documents are in Dropbox. I first opened NeoOffice by double clicking on a document in dropbox. A message appeared on the screen and I cancelled it before I read it. The document opened and while the document is open it makes a series of repetitive sounds: Buzz, knock, knock, buzz, knock, knock, and so on. When I open some other documents it makes the buzz sound and then stops but when I type, the knock sound occurs with every key stroke. If I create a new document, the same thing happens - a knock sound with every key stroke. I don't have this problem with NeoOffice on my iMac or my 6 year old MacBook Pro. I am running 10.8.5 on the Macbook Air and on the iMac an earlier version of the OS on the MacBook Pro. I tried putting a document on a flash drive and transferring it to the MBAir. Problem still occurs. I have opened several NeoOffice documents on the MBAIR and they all make similar noises. Hope someone knows what’s happening and can help. TIA.
