Hello, I’m encountering a block on older music purchases from iTunes. Most (if not all) of the items are iTunes “free” songs that were offered, and first authorized many years ago, as well as many updated systems ago. * My system is Mac OS X, ver. 10.9.2 (Mavericks) * My Apple ID and iTunes app are up-to-date * The username originally used to authorize them is an old eMail account that has long-since been cancelled. so a ‘forgot password’ return eMail is not a possibility.
An error dialog tells me that my computer isn’t authorized to play the selected song(s). I (re-)authorize the songs on this computer, but am then told the computer [is] authorized, and try to play the songs again, getting the same block. Help from Apple is linked to a [product] purchase, and I couldn’t find anything in the FAQ that might help, but I may have missed something. <sigh> Does anyone know what is happening, and/or what I need to do to correct the blockage problem? Please and thanks, - russ preston _______________________________________________ MacGroup mailing list [email protected] http://www.math.louisville.edu/mailman/listinfo/macgroup
