My son and his family were visiting several weeks ago. They were trying to use their computers in my kitchen which is on the floor below and at the other end of the house from where the Uverse box sits. There was a week wifi signal there. My son suggested I get a WiFi range extender. I bought a netgear N300 WiFi range extender from best buy and after setting it up, installed it at the other end of the house but on the same floor as from my Uverse box. The WiFi signal in my kitchen is now as strong as the signal in the room where the Uverse box resides. Who knew my son, who wanted nothing to do with computers when he was growing up, would have the answer?
